Christmas Time is Here!!

The holidays are fast approaching and it's time to start decking the halls with your Christmas cheer! This is the time of year you drag out all your comfie, cozy and wintery decorations and make your home into a walking talking example of the holidays! But don't get crazy haha! You can still have some great decorations without completely enveloping your house in blow-up snowmen and colored string lights.... Which by the way, don't do. I've gathered some great and simple ideas for you to decorate your home and keep it classy this winter so that your family and everyone else can enjoy the Christmas cheer =)

Here is a simple and beautiful way to decorate the outside of your home. Some garland with lights and red or burgundy bows. This is so beautiful and simple without having to put to much effort into it, especially if you are not one to get up on the roof to hang icicle lights.

This is a super creative idea for a wreath! Take an old picture frame paint it and hang some Christmas bulbs in the center. This is a great way to do something different and still have something Christmasy hanging on your door.

Banisters are beautiful when they are decorated with garland and lights. This is a really simple way to give your stairway a complete and appealing look without having to decorate everything in your hallway or entry room.

This has always been a favorite of mine; hanging your stockings above the fireplace. This is such a traditional way to decorate and keep it simple and functional. You can also add a little garland with candles for a little added Christmas cheer.

This is such a cute project for the kids to get involved with! Snow flakes out of little fake tree stems. This is a creative and fun way to have the kids help out with the decorating, and the best part is they hang in the windows so everyone can see what they made.

Another great idea for the kids to get involved with is these cute little candy canes hanging from ribbons. Again this is super simple and a great way to get the kids involved in helping decorate for the holidays. Plus after they holidays are over they can look forward to eating them =)

As I am sure most of you have a tree to decorate, I wanted to post this picture because I love that it is very classy looking there aren't actually too many ornaments on the tree because of the shapes and lengths. It's balanced and also has a good color balance. So this is just an idea for those of you that have no idea what to hang on your tree.

This is a great idea for people who can fit a tree in there home. This little homemade tree is a great way to save space but still have something to decorate. This is just simply a tree drawn on what looks like either paper bag or burlap. As you can see in the picture the kids are still able to decorate this little drawn tree with some lights and bulbs.

This is an awesome idea for both the kids and for people who don't have room for a fake or real Christmas tree. These are handmade snowflakes that are hung to make look like a little tree. This is a perfect way to let your kids be a part of the decorating and to give them something to be proud of when they look at the tree they helped to create. Absolutely love this idea!

I hope you all decorate your houses beautifully this year and maybe even use some of these new ideas to help you out while you do. Have a wonderful time decorating for the holidays and Merry Christmas!
