Simplicity is ok!!

I love the simplicity of this bedroom look. Just proves you don't have to be elaborate to get that great fresh new and professional look to your home! Don't always over think it!

Pinterest finds =)

I was just looking through my Pinterest boards (and if you don't have one get one! lol) and I had pinned this little idea. A simple canvas with some acrylic paint and some scrap paper! It's amazing what some of the simplest things can turn out to become; in this case a piece of artwork to decorate your home!

Little bathroom with big potential!!

Was just at this little industrial looking game place with my boyfriend today. I went to use there bathroom and it was completely unfinished. However I like the tile they already had on the floor and with a little help from the right person (me! lol) it could be a beautiful little bathroom!

Any of these color pallets would actually look great in this bathroom! Just needs a change of lighting and some color and a little design to make this great to look at and use! I am really partial to the flowers those colors are already similar to what is already in the bathroom, so it would just make it pop with that little extra edge, the environment would be warm and welcoming (just what you want when you walk into a bathroom right? lol).

Five year olds paradise?..

I recently was at a Tropical Smoothie (which have amazing smoothies by the way) after a vigorous hike and ordered. When I sat down to eat I actually looked around a little....seriously I was wondering if I had just entered a playroom. That's how ridiculous I felt being in there. Now I understand they have specific colors they have to go by and what not, but come on, the tables with all the little cartoon fruits all over it? I would have made the place look a lot more professional if I were the one designing it. They are selling smoothies (healthy ones!) not balloon animals! They should be marketing towards the middle aged active crowd and instead it looks like a perfect Disney kids paradise. At least they have awesome food.... =/

Now it would look a lot better if they had make it look more authentic. Keeping the same rainforest colors but changing the landscape to look more tropical. Putting more tiki hut straw around and maybe sticking a couple fake tropical trees in the corners or heck one giant one in the center! Why not! And not putting cartoon fruits on the table.... but making it look like bamboo! Now that would be a neat place to visit!

My First Projects!

Hey everyone! My site is finally finished! This is a blog for my passion for Interior Design, I'll be posting things that I have been working on and also other places that I see that either have it together or they need a little help =D! These are a few of the projects that I have been working on around my house. It helped add to the over all appearance of the room. (The wall with the flowers isn't finished yet. The wall is so big I need to add some other things to it because the wall almost swallows the poor flowers!)
